ITU Architecture Summit: Inspiring the Architects of the Future

On 27 December 2024, we attended the Taşkışla Summit organised by Istanbul Technical University and came together with the leading names of the architecture and design world. This event, held in the prestigious environment of ITU, was an unforgettable experience that both shared creative ideas and inspired the architects of the future.

As Diem, it was a source of pride for us that our co-founder Didem Şamlı took part in the summit. Didem Şamlı, who is also an ITU graduate, shared her journey in the world of architecture and her work in the field of sustainable design with the participants, inspired by her roots at the university. Didem Şamlı, who conveyed our expertise in ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) services and our sustainability vision, shed light on the understanding of design and architecture of the future.

In addition, we once again emphasised the importance we attach to young talents by introducing our Athena New Graduate Programme at the summit. The Athena Programme was introduced as a programme that focuses on contributing to the development of young professionals by involving them in innovative projects in our company and was met with great interest by the summit participants.

The interest and questions of the young architect candidates who filled the hall throughout the event were an indication of the curiosity and enthusiasm for the understanding of architecture of the future. The excitement and energy of our participants gave us a promising view of the future.
