As Diem, the \u2018Water Saving Awareness Workshop\u2019, which we carried out in order to instil the love of nature and water in children who are the architects of the future, was met with great interest and love by our little participants.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"536\" data-end=\"567\">\ud83c\udf1f What did we do in the event?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"translation-block\" data-start=\"569\" data-end=\"688\">The question \u2018Why is water important?\u2019 was at the centre of our activity. We both talked and experimented with the children:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"692\" data-end=\"778\" class=\"translation-block\">We observed together how rain is formed with a ziplock bag, hot water and ice.<\/li>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10259 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.diem.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/rozet-baski-23-nisan-970x1024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"187\" height=\"197\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.diem.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/rozet-baski-23-nisan-970x1024.png 970w, https:\/\/www.diem.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/rozet-baski-23-nisan-284x300.png 284w, https:\/\/www.diem.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/rozet-baski-23-nisan-768x811.png 768w, https:\/\/www.diem.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/rozet-baski-23-nisan-11x12.png 11w, https:\/\/www.diem.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/rozet-baski-23-nisan-440x464.png 440w, https:\/\/www.diem.com.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/rozet-baski-23-nisan.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 187px) 100vw, 187px\" \/>We talked about how they can use water economically in daily life. We explained simple but effective behaviours such as turning off the tap while brushing teeth, not wasting water while soaping hands, noticing dripping taps with examples.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"translation-block\" data-start=\"1017\" data-end=\"1190\">At the end of the event, we presented \u2018Protect Your Water, Protect the World\u2019 themed stickers and \u2018Water Hero\u2019 badges to all children. Our little heroes loved their gifts!<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1239\">\ud83c\udf0d Following Atat\u00fcrk, Nature Loving Generations<\/h3>\n<p class=\"translation-block\" data-start=\"1241\" data-end=\"1493\">During the activity, we also told the children about Atat\u00fcrk's sensitivity to nature. Especially with the story \u2018Walking Mansion\u2019, they learnt that he had the mansion transported by rails in order not to cut down a tree. Thus, we established a beautiful connection between environmental awareness and leadership.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1495\" data-end=\"1549\">\ud83d\udde3\ufe0f Mini Interview: \u2018If you were the Minister of Environment...?\u2019<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1551\" data-end=\"1719\">One of the most enjoyable and inspiring moments of the day was the part where we asked the following question to the children:<br data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1646\" \/><strong data-start=\"1646\" data-end=\"1719\">\u2018If you were environment minister, what would you do to protect water and nature?\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1721\" data-end=\"2037\">The answers we received were really creative, fun and full of hope.
