Diem has successfully completed a high-quality archive building, office buildings and landscaping project in Ankara for T\u00fcrkiye Finans Kat\u0131l\u0131m Bankas\u0131. The project covered an area of 11,250 square meters and prioritized durability, functionality and compliance with modern construction standards.<\/p>\n

Challenges and Solutions<\/h2>\n

Challenge:<\/strong> The project was planned to be realized in the summer. However, due to the delay in the license, the works had to be carried out in winter conditions. This brought significant difficulties.<\/p>\n

Solution:<\/strong> Materials and technologies suitable for cold weather conditions were used. As a result, the project was completed within the planned timeframe and at the desired quality level. Project Manager Doruk Demirel summarised the process by saying, \u2018Despite the winter conditions, we successfully completed the project with cold-resistant materials and methods.\u2019<\/p>\n

Innovations<\/h2>\n

Structural Innovation:<\/strong> One of the most striking aspects of the project is the use of the archive section's shelving system as the building structural system. This approach was a first for our team and added a unique dimension to the structural design of the project.<\/p>\n

Roof System:<\/strong> Furthermore, by using a high quality standing seam roofing system, the roofing of the building was designed to provide superior durability and weather resistance. This roof system contributed to the longevity of the building.<\/p>\n

Foundation Technique:<\/strong> For the foundation of the building, 800 plastic piles were applied, a first for our company. This innovative foundation method played an important role in the overall success of the project by increasing the stability of the building.<\/p>\n

Achievements<\/h2>\n

Comprehensive Implementation:<\/strong> The project was successfully completed as a true turnkey solution. This meant managing every phase of construction, including the bored pile foundation system, earthworks, rough construction, steel fabrication and erection, facade and roof cladding, retaining walls, finishing works, landscaping, electrical and mechanical systems.<\/p>\n

Coordination and Completion:<\/strong> The realisation of the project in such a large area and in such detail was possible thanks to the competence of the team and the successful management of the processes. \u201cThe timely and complete completion of all works in this project was realised with the harmonious work of our team.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Acquired Experience<\/h2>\n

Experience Gained:<\/strong> This project brought important experience to our team. In particular, establishing the staff and managing the processes required to complete such a detailed and large-scale construction project at a construction site outside Istanbul without any errors has been a great learning opportunity for the team.<\/p>\n
