On 23-24 October 2024, we attended the 10th Studio Alliance Meeting held in Brussels and Diem had an unforgettable experience. This event, hosted by Alternativ Workplace Solutions, brought together the industry's leading experts on sustainability, office design and future vision. As Diem, we attracted great attention at the conference with the Newgen Athena Programme we offered, and we crowned this success by winning the ‘Unleash Our Collective Wisdom’ award.

The first day of the meeting started with an Office Safari led by Officemakers.lu. This event, where we had the opportunity to discover the most innovative workspaces in Brussels, provided us with important ideas about office solutions centred on sustainability and functionality. The first evening event at Alternativ's showroom was a great experience where we exchanged ideas and met with experts from different areas of the sector.

The main theme of the second day was the future of workspaces, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategies and sustainability. The event continued with two main sessions; Workplace Session led by Ester Svetlik Danelova and Executive Session led by Clive Lucking, where groundbreaking projects, visions and strategies for the future were discussed.

Within the framework of these sessions, Philip Vanhoutte shared his ideas on sustainable working environments with his ‘Smarter Working’ concept. Els Fonteyne talked about circular economy, while Alice Inigo-Jones introduced Designfit Dubai, their new project in the United Arab Emirates. In addition, the announcement of an ergonomics-focused international collaboration with Humanscale took place in this session.

In these important sessions, we had the opportunity to share our vision as Diem Group. Our Athena Programme presentation focused on strengthening community awareness, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of young talents. Our programme created a great resonance among professionals in the sector and once again demonstrated the importance Diem attaches to knowledge and development.

At the Studio Alliance Awards ceremony held on the evening of the summit, we won an award in the ‘Unleash Our Collective Wisdom’ category with our Athena Programme. This award crowned our mission to increase the knowledge of the sector by supporting young talents and once again showed how effective Diem's vision is.

This inspiring event strengthened our projects based on ESG, sustainability, innovation and knowledge sharing. With this valuable experience and award we gained in Brussels, we are preparing for the next Studio Alliance Meeting in Bucharest on 26-27 March with even more excitement.
Studio Alliance Brussels Conference has once again strengthened our mission to create a collective impact by sharing sectoral knowledge. This award, which we won with our Athena programme, added inspiration and motivation to our path and reinforced our belief that we will achieve greater success together. As Diem, we will continue our pioneering role in the sector with sustainable and innovative solutions.
