In 2022, Diem completed the Arçelik EBİ R&D office project in Eskişehir, which it started in the last quarter of 2021. It is the renovation project of a part of the existing factory areas of Arçelik located in Eskişehir. In the R&D Buildings project process of 2,400 m², Diem, which stands out with its architectural engineering projects, proceeded with accurate analyzes by considering all the details.
R&D buildings are built for the R&D departments, a significant department, which is often described as the heart of companies. The aim of the Arçelik EBİ project was to include innovative and functional areas for the R&D team. However transforming a factory building with a height of about 11m was not an easy task. Even the process of clearing the site, removing the equipment and handing over the site completely to Diem was a exhaustive task. At the same time, the difficulty of the winter conditions in the region stood out as a factor affecting the project process. Despite all the negativities, Diem Mühendislik Mimarlık successfully delivered the project by overcoming these problems.
Due to the renovation of an industrial structure, there is a production line with heavy machinery in a certain area. And here, the office created has to separate this production line. All of this turns out to be a grueling job. Although it is not an easy task to carry out all these in accordance with the details, to provide the necessary infrastructure, to isolate this place and to make it suitable for a habitable fit-out, Diem achieves this in a short period of 5 months. At the same time, although it is a project carried out outside of Istanbul, where the head office is located, the Arçelik EBI project was completed with all kinds of support without compromising on quality.
“The area we built was roughly 2.500m2, and we transformed this 2500m2 area into a very spacious, pleasing place that they were looking forward to move to. Everyone is very satisfied. We are also pleased that we did a quality job.” Project Manager / Msc. Civil Engineer Bülent Canik.
