This year, we once again celebrated April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day with an event where children both enjoyed themselves and discovered new things. As Diem, the “Water Conservation Awareness Workshop,” where we came together with children who will be the designers and decision-makers of the future, was once again full of inspiring moments.
Throughout the workshop, our focus was on the place and value of water in our lives. Conversations that started with the question, “What would happen if there were no water?” were carried to entirely different places by the children's imaginations.
We observed how rain is formed through a small experiment; conducted with the help of hot water, paper, and a ziplock bag, this experiment was quite surprising for the children. Together, we reflected on the water consumption we engage in daily without noticing and talked about how much of a difference simple habits can make.

Turning off the tap while brushing teeth, not letting the water run while soaping up, or noticing a dripping faucet… The children enriched these small but effective behaviors with their own examples. At the end of the event, each of them received their “Water Hero” badges and small theme-specific gifts.
One of the most enjoyable moments of the day was the question we posed to the children: “If you were a decision-maker to protect the environment, what would you do?
The resulting ideas were both creative and promising. Some wanted to plant more trees, while others set new rules to protect water. Each was a sign of a strong awareness toward nature.

On this special day, where we brought the joy of April 23 together with nature consciousness, the energy and curiosity of the children inspired us once again.
As Diem, we will continue to contribute to the upbringing of generations that are more conscious and in harmony with nature.
We are glad you are here, little heroes! 💙
